Sara Zozaya is one of the most distinctive voices to emerge from the new Basque music scene. Since she began in 2018, Sara has developed a universe of her own, where lo-fi, experimental pop, minimalism, and Basque musical traditions coexist.
Her career has flourished, taking her to festivals such as Primavera Sound, Eufònic, BBK Live, ArcTanGent (Bristol), and Sharpe Festival (Bratislava), and sharing lineups with artists such as Ethel Cain and Penelope Trappes.
Her latest release, "Attä", came out on Aloud Music, the label behind artists such as Marina Herlop. This new sonic landscape is brought to life on stage through an audiovisual performance in which immersive synthesizers and hypnotic atmospheres interact with real-time visuals.
A show of remarkable aesthetic and emotional intensity, it finds Sara Zozaya at a peak in her career, carrying her artistic vision from the Basque Country to an increasingly international stage.
